It’s always a good night when Anne Hathaway shows up on the red carpet in one magnificent outfit—never mind showing up in two.
At last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards, the Devil Wears Prada alum made back-to-back fashion statements in designer looks that would make even Miranda Priestley proud.
For her first look of the night, Hathaway arrived at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History in a denim showstopper from Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection. The two-piece set consisted of a strapless, button-up bustier and a sweeping maxi skirt with a dramatically long train. Both pieces featured an ethereal, cloudlike print, with the skirt especially evoking a strong stratospheric sensibility.
Since Hathaway is an ambassador for Bulgari, it’s no surprise she accessorized the denim look with glittering jewels from the luxury designer—most notably, a chandelier diamond necklace with a 31-carat cushion-cut sapphire set in platinum. She continued the bling with a metallic silver leather top-handle bag, also from Bulgari. Finally, for her shoes, the actor opted for strappy silver heels by Jimmy Choo.
Later in the night, she changed into a romantic crimson gown from Rodarte’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway. The dress featured plenty of the feminine, dreamy touches the house is known for, such as see-through lace and tulle draping. Glittering black floral sequins and embroidery across the bust, shoulders, and skirt also added a gothic flare.
For the outfit change, Hathaway swept her dark brown hair up into a bun and switched her jewelry for a pair of diamond-encrusted pendant earrings.
