The idea of ​​an iron cage martial arts match between the two technology billionaires started in June, when Mr. Musk replied to an online comment that he was willing to participate. Mr. Zuckerberg then took a screenshot of Mr. Musk’s comment and asked to “send the address”.

Mr. Musk initially said the match could take place in Las Vegas (Nevada state) but recently said he had talked to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni about holding the match at the Coliseum in Rome.

According to the world’s richest man, the match will be broadcast live, organized by the two players’ own funds and the proceeds will go to veterans. However, Mr. Musk did not specify the specific date of the competition and also said he had a shoulder injury and needed surgery, which could take several months.
