After 27 years together, David Beckham admitted that he and Victoria Beckham have gone through many ups and downs and they are lucky to always have each other in those moments.

Recently sharing on the SmartLess podcast, David Beckham said he and his wife rewatched Beckham (2023) – a documentary about the life and career of this football star. The former British football player confided: “After watching the documentary, we looked at each other, both of us didn’t know how we had gone through those 27 years, but we did it, we overcame it and had a new life.” Great family, great job and we’re happy.”

The father of four continued: “Of course, when you are with someone for such a period of time, you will go through ups and downs, everyone knows those things and in the end we were lucky because had each other in those moments

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham started dating in 1997 after meeting at a charity soccer match. The couple married in 1999 and became the most sought-after couple in England. After 27 years together, the two now have a happy home with four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and are still influential names to the public.

Reflecting on the past, the once famous football star confided: “She was the star of the Spice Girls and I was playing for Manchester United at that time. Even when we went through difficult times , we always have each other, nurture our relationship together and that is the most wonderful thing.”

The British star expressed his happiness when he met the “half” of his life in his twenties, got married, and had his first son when he was 23 years old. Children make them more connected and responsible to the family. Beckham said he was lucky to meet his wife because he always wanted to have 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren when he was young. The famous father feels happy because he has a successful playing career and plays for great teams.
