ANNE HATHAWAY showed off her smoking post-đđđđŠ figure as she flaunted her enviable curves on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass last night.
The star – who gave đđąđ«đđĄ to her son Jonathan just two months ago – wore a figure-hugging floral and pinᔎtriÆ„e strapless dress as she strutted her stuff on the red carpet. She coupled the bold dress with hassle-free beach waves and flawless vampy makeup. Her smoky eyes and deep berry lips were complimented by a matching manicure and pedicure.
It was a more unusual choice for the Oscar-winning actress, who tends to stick to more classical styles and was perhaps more in keeping with the quirky nature of the film. She twinned the dress with several chunky cocktail rings. Hathaway plays the White Queen in this latest Disney sequel.
Not to be outdone, Mia Wasikowska, turned up in an equally form-fitting black and gold full-length gown. Embellished by glitter and sheer cutouts, the star coupled the dramatic dress with a slick ash blond bob. The Australian actress kept her makeup simple, save for an eye-catching slick of red lipstick. She opted not to wear jewelry and let the dress speak for itself.
The Alice star happily posed with fans and signed autographs. Her dress had delicate straps of gold butterflies and moonbeams – again, a nice nod to the daydream-like nature of the Disney film.
Johnny Depp and Sacha Baron Cohen let the girls have the limelight. The actors turned up in similarly subdued dark blue suits. Depp twinned his with an even darker blue shirt and black shoes whilst Baron Cohen opted for a crisp white shirt, gold and brown tie, and brown shoes.
The pair – who have been friends for years having previously starred together in the musical Sweeney Todd – larked about on the red carpet for the adoring fans and eager photographers.
Depp reprises his role as the Mad Hatter while Grimbsy and Les Miserables star Sacha Baron Cohen joins the cast as Time. The latter held up a cardboard cut out of the Red Queen, as actress Helena Bonham Carter was absent from the premiere.
Singer Pink – who sings the theme at the end of the film and over the trailer – swapped one huge flowing number for another as she began the night in a corally pink layered ruffle dress. She then joined her husband and daughter on the red carpet wearing a figure-swamping white dress with a tie-dye print.
Other stars at the premiers included former Spice Girl Mel B, Carmen Electra (wearing a plunging red lace dress), and various reality TV stars including Real Housewives alumni and dancers from the Lifetime show, Dance Moms.
Alice Through the Looking Glass will be in UK cinemas on May 27.
