Taylor Swift manifested her future.
On Sunday night, the pop star surprised Eras Tour concert-goers in Lyon, France with a mashup of “Fifteen” and “You’re On Your Own, Kid.”
While singing the chorus from the hit song off “Fearless,” fans noticed that Swift couldn’t contain her excitement while mentioning a once-made-up relationship with a football player.
“But in your life, you’ll do things greater than / Dating the boy on the football team,” she sang through her smile. “But I didn’t know it at fifteen.”
In a video shared on X, the 34-year-old could be seen blushing and giggling as the crowd erupted into cheers at the line, which draws parallels to her romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
“shut up her smile during ‘you’ll do greater things than dating the boy on the football team,’” one fan wrote.
“Turns out you can do greater things AND date the boy on the football team (she just didn’t know that at fifteen),” another user added.
“Taylor smiled and was giddy during ‘in your life you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team’ because it’s ironic how she ended up with a football player after writing these lines as a teen,” a third chimed in. “it’s also cute. no hidden meaning.”
Others gushed that the “Cruel Summer” singer looked “so happy” and “so in love” with the football star, who she started dating last summer.
Kelce didn’t attend Swift’s shows in Lyon as the Kansas City Chiefs visited the White House on Saturday to celebrate their February 2023 Super Bowl win.
The pair have been apart for over two weeks following a romantic getaway to Lake Como in mid-March.
However, they are likely to link up later this month when Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, travel to France to record their hit podcast from the 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Page Six confirmed last month that the brothers will tape their podcast at Stagwell’s Sport Beach on June 20.
The “All Too Well” singer has a concert in Wales on June 18 before playing in London three days later. It is unclear whether Swift will pop over to the South of France or if the hunky athlete will travel her way after the festival.
Although Travis has been busy in the States the last couple of weeks, Swift’s BFFs Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attended bth of her shows in Madrid last week.
The couple was spotted singing, dancing and even sharing a sweet smooch in the crowd.
Swift gave the pair’s three eldest daughters — James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4 — a special shoutout during the concert.
“I have to say that on ‘Folklore,’ some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez and Betty,” the singer, who famously used the names of the couple’s daughters in her songs, told the crowd.
Like their parents, the three girls seemed to have the time of their lives at the concert.
