Vivienne has developed an interest in theater and is working as an assistant to her mother preparing a performance for the Great White Way. The mother-daughter duo are putting a lot of effort into producing a theatrical version of SE Hinton’s 1967 classic The Outsiders.
The author, 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 Susan Eloise Hinton, wrote much of the popular novel when she was just a teenager in high school in Oklahoma, so it seemed coincidental that Vivienne was interested help give it new life.
In a statement to People, Angelina Jolie proudly revealed: “Vivienne reminds me of my mother in that she doesn’t focus on being the center of attention but on supporting other creators. . She is very thoughtful and serious about the stage and works hard to best understand how to contribute.”
The mother and daughter shared a smile as they left the meeting a few hours later. Vivienne was close to her mother as they got into the car waiting to take them back to the hotel.
