A young Nigerian man who has won a scholarship to study mechanical engineering at three colleges in the US and Canada ends himself in Alberta

 

Goodluck Obi Agu, a young and gifted Nigerian, has obtained scholarships from three universities, including the University of Alberta, the University of Alabama, and the University of Rochester in New York, United States, to pursue both master’s and doctoral degrees.

In Abeokuta, South-West Nigeria, at the Federal University of Agriculture, Goodluck Agu began his further education career and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.

Nonetheless, he clarified that he had made the decision to accept the University of Alberta’s offer and had started his Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering there.

In a statement, Obi Agu said, “I am delighted to announce that I have begun my master’s program in Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Management at the University of Alberta on a full scholarship.

He continued by saying that the University of Alberta, which takes pride in being a top-five university in Canada, the country’s number-one university for energy systems engineering, and a top-ten university in the world for energy systems research, would be the ideal location for him to conduct the ideal research.

He expressed gratitude to everyone who had helped him on his educational journey, from Nigeria to Canada. He declared, “I am eager to see what the future holds and I welcome this new era with open arms.
