Draymond Green comments on the most recent action of Klay Thompson

If Draymond Green is worried about what Klay Thompson’s recent social-media ploy means for the Golden State Warriors, he is not showing it publicly.

In the latest edition of “The Draymond Green Show,” Green weighed in on Thompson’s decision to unfollow the Warriors on social media. The move did not seem to worry Green too much, with the forward openly laughing it off.

“I know all of you were probably looking forward to me talking about Klay unfollowing the Warriors,” Green said. “I had no idea that happened. I think it’s f—ing hilarious. … I think that’s comical. I know you all would be wanting somebody’s feelings to be hurt or something. It ain’t that. Ain’t never going to be that. That’s hilarious.”

It might be an odd reaction given Thompson’s status with the Warriors, but Green seems determined not to make much of this. After all, Green does not have much to gain on either side from inserting himself into whatever negotiations are taking place between Thompson and the Warriors.

Green can laugh it off all he wants, but Thompson’s move could be an ominous sign for the Warriors. The guard averaged 17.9 points per game this season and struggled with his shot, which led to his role being reduced late in the year. That may play a part in pushing him toward another team if and when he becomes a free agent.
