To the loyal viewers of The Kardashians, it’s clear that Kourtney Kardashian hasn’t exactly been getting along with her sisters, especially in the past few years. And sure, that might have to do with Kourtney’s explosive fight with Kim Kardashian in the past few seasons, but it also feels just a symptom of a bigger problem.

And, just as suspected, a source recently revealed to Daily Mail just how disconnected Kourtney’s been from her inner circle since marrying her husband, Travis Barker.

“Kourtney started discarding everyone in her life when Travis came into the picture and, since then, it has got progressively worse to the point where she doesn’t seem to care about associating with anyone from her old life,” the insider revealed.

That also extends to her sisters Kim and Khloé, who were all once very close. “Kourtney barely talks to Khloe and Kim anymore, aside from when they are filming the show,” the source said. “She has pushed them away and deals with them as if they are her coworkers. Things are very fake and forced when filming the show.”

“She also thinks that Kim and Khloé are jealous of her marriage because they are both single,” the source added. As a reminder, while Kourtney and Barker have been married since 2022, Kim and her rumored ex-boyfriend Odell Beckham Jr. broke up in April of this year while Khloé has been single since her split from ex Tristan Thompson in 2021.

Kourtney’s friend group, which included Melissa Kolker, Allie Rizzo, Stephanie Shepherd, Brittny Gastineau, Courtenay Semel, and Sarah Howard, also felt a change.

“Kourtney and those girls were like sisters their whole life,” a second source said. “Now she barely even responds to texts or calls.”

“The girls are all still close with various members of the Kardashian family including Malika Haaq, who is Khloe’s best friend,” they added. “Many of them are still close with Scott, too, who they all care deeply for. Scott has always been great to her friends.”

“But none of Kourtney’s old friends are really friends with Travis and have had hardly any contact with Kourtney since she got together with him,” the source added.

According to the source, Kourtney’s strained connections with her sisters and friends might’ve started because of tensions right at the beginning of her romance with Barker.

“When Travis got together with Kourtney on the heels of her and Scott [Disick]’s long romance, he felt threatened by Scott,” the source said of the Blink-182 drummer, who welcomed his first son with The Kardashians star in November 2023.

Kourtney and Disick, on the other hand, share kids Mason, 14, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9, and were together from 2006 to 2015.

“Travis made it awkward for Scott to be around the family when he was there,” the source said. “His constant kissing and groping of Kourtney was his weapon and he knew that it would keep Scott out of the picture – and it did at the time.”

“Travis needed Scott to know that Kourtney was his now and, as a result, it caused Scott to distance himself from the Kardashians,” they added.

But while Disick wanted to distance himself, Kourtney’s family stood by him. “Travis’ game plan to get Scott out of the picture backfired tremendously,” the insider detailed. “He knows that the Kardashian family’s loyalty lies with Scott. Kourtney and Scott’s kids also are very loyal to their father and will always side with Scott when it comes to Travis’ issues with their dad.”

Looks like Kourtney’s got a lot of ties to make up if she ever wants to restore her former inner circle.
