Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight has pleaded with ex-husband Brad Pitt to end their “senseless” eight-year divorce battle for the sake of their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Voight, 85, who last month criticized his daughter Angelina Jolie’s political views, told Fox News Digital that he hopes the couple can find a way to reconcile – just days after Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh officially dropped his last name.
“You know, I think the kids need stability. I love the kids, and I love my daughter. I want Brad Pitt to end this senseless divorce,” Angelina Jolie’s father said.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who share six 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, went their separate ways in 2016. However, their divorce, which includes a battle over a vineyard, continues.
A source close to the actor told Page Six that the famous Chateau Miraval is protecting the Hollywood star’s six 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren: “It’s important for people to realize that Brad’s motivation is to make sure his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren get the most out of this property. Once it’s sold, that’s no longer the case and it significantly reduces their inheritance.”
Shiloh had previously hired and paid for her own attorney when she filed to drop the Pitt surname on her 18th 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day, changing her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. According to TMZ, there was no formal hearing on the name change — the petition was approved on August 19, according to official court documents.
Last month, Shiloh published a notice in the Los Angeles Times dropping her father’s surname, “Pitt,” a standard step before court approval. The notice also stated that anyone who objects to the petition must appear in court.
