Tennis icon Serena Williams has put her five-bedroom Los Angeles residence on the market for $7.49 million, just over three years after purchasing the newly-built home for $6.65 million.
The three-story Spanish-style villa is located on a quarter-acre lot in the gated Summit Estates of Beverly Hills, a celebrity-favorite area that reportedly includes neighbors like Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears.
According to the listing photos, the home is designed for entertaining, with several sitting rooms featuring fireplaces on the main floor, along with a spacious open kitchen that leads out to a veranda and the backyard, which includes a small pool. The lower level boasts a gym, laundry room, and a lounge with a full bar and wine cellar.
The 6,000-square-foot property was built by developer Ario Fakheri.
The upper floor features a master suite with a fireplace, balcony, two walk-in closets, and a luxurious master bath with dual sinks and a soaking tub.
Gregory Piechota of Compass and Amit Lalji of Keller Williams Beverly Hills, who are co-listing the property, stated that Ms. Williams, hasn’t made major changes to the home since she purchased it.
The main floor is well-suited for entertaining, with multiple sitting areas and fireplaces.
Serena Williams bought the house in late 2017, shortly after the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of her daughter with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The home was built by Ario Fakheri.
Previously, in 2019, Williams sold her Bel-Air property for $8.1 million, which she had purchased for $6.62 million in 2006. After listing it for $12 million in 2017, the asking price was reduced to $9.95 million before it sold.
