Randi Mahomes’ grocery store fright involving a gunman: Sad state of the world

The famous mother of Patrick Mahomes took to social media after her encounter.

It is no secret that the United States of America is a country that has guns as part of its culture and political discourse. Millions of people own them, and there are countless examples of them being used outside of the law.

Scared

Despite that, the sight of one attached to a man’s belt in a grocery store recently was enough to make Randi Mahomes very scared.

She is the mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who has now won the Super Bowl twice in his career.

The incident at the grocery store led Randi to tweet: “Yesterday at the grocery store there was a man with his son that had a hand gun on his belt…. And honestly i wasn’t sure if i felt a bit safer or afraid.. so i went home fast. Sad the world we live in..”

She appears to be referencing the ongoing argument in America which centers around whether guns being among the popluation actually makes people safer, or if it more dangerous.

Even though not much about her financials is known, Randi is believed to have a net worth around $2 million dollars, which shouldn’t be much of a surprise, given his son signed an over $450 million dollar contract to play in the NFL on top of being the most popular and marketable player in the league as well.
