Young African man who works as a bank security guard goes back to school for university degree, becomes a banker in swift promotion.

A young African man named Noble Wisdom Dordoe has achieved a remarkable transformation, rising from being a bank security guard to becoming a banker through hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

Noble’s journey began in 2006 when he worked as a security guard at Fidelity Bank, stationed at the reception of the Managing Director, Edward Effah.

His duties included opening doors for the Managing directors and visitors. Recognizing Noble’s potential, Mr. Effah recommended him for a messenger role within the bank. But that was not the beginning of Noble’s story.

Before working as a security guard, he had overcome significant hardships. Upon arriving in Accra, he worked as a truck pusher, often sleeping outside closed shops. He later sold yogurt on the streets to make ends meet.

Despite these struggles, he remained determined to change his life. Noble faced many academic setbacks, writing his WAEC exams four times before passing.

Once he achieved this milestone, he enrolled in Methodist University, Ghana where he successfully graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Noble went on to earn an MBA at the same university.

Through consistent hard work and dedication, he rose through the ranks at Fidelity Bank, receiving promotions that eventually led to a banking role.

Inspired by his personal journey, Noble founded the Give Me Hope Foundation, an NGO dedicated to empowering others facing challenges similar to his. Over the past decade, the foundation has impacted thousands of lives through its humanitarian efforts.

Noble describes the NGO as a reflection of his life story: “God picked me from the streets so I can go back and be a voice for them.”

Noble’s transformation has earned him significant recognition. He was even invited to share his inspirational story at a meeting with shareholders and directors of Fidelity Bank, where he detailed how his life’s journey has inspired thousands of lives.
