LeBron James was “peak girl dad energy” at the Paris Olympics when his dance moves made his daughter Zhuri cringe.
On Aug. 1, the NBA star, his wife Savannah James and their 9-year-old daughter Zhuri Nova James attended the women’s beach volleyball Olympic match. While cheering in the stands, LeBron broke into the ultimate “dad dance” — to his daughter’s dismay.
As the Los Angeles Lakers forward player pumped his fists in the air and shook his hips, Zhuri held her face in her hands while Savannah looked amused.

The athlete’s dance was caught on camera and posted to the X account of “On Her Turf,” an NBC Olympics podcast.
Aside from Zhuri, LeBron and Savannah share two sons, Bronny, 19, and Bryce, 17.
Zhuri is often in the limelight — her Instagram account, managed by her parents, has 424,000 followers and her YouTube account, with 203 subscribers follows her family adventures.
LeBron has been known to go overboard with excitement around his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Last year, while cheering on Zhuri in a volleyball game, he loudly yelled, “Let’s go, Munchkin!” evoking a horrified look from the girl.
His excitement can prove too much for Zhuri at times but LeBron makes up for it.
When Zhuri watched a basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls in 2017, LeBron went on a mission to find her candy, asking bystanders until one delivered a treat. “You’re welcome,” he called to his daughter.
LeBron said that he’s a total “girl dad” in a Facebook video published by the Los Angeles Lakers. “Obviously, I’m one of them and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” he said in the video.
“To be able to see my daughter continue to mature and continue to get bigger and bigger and loving … every single day, it’s just super duper cool,” LeBron added. “Just to see her progression in her life is just amazing.”
