‘Time traveler’ says 2025 will bring Menendez brothers’ freedom – but it spells disaster for Elon Musk & a US state

A SELF-PROCLAIMED time traveler has predicted 2025 will bring freedom for the Menendez brothers – but the new year might not treat other celebrities so well.

Drew Curtis went viral for predicting the Covid-19 pandemic years in advance, leading him to continue sharing his guesses about the future with his thousands of social media followers.

Curtis is the CEO and founder of Fark, a news aggregation site that he says helps him identify future patterns and events as he’s inundated with the current news cycle.

His forecasting streak began in 2015 when he posted, “Admission: I’m a time traveler from 2020.

“Enjoy 2016 – it’s as good as it gets for a while.”

Months after quarantines started in the US in 2020, he revisited the tweet to add that it “aged well,” prompting thousands to believe he was a bonafide time traveler.

However, he told The U.S. Sun in 2022 that the pandemic prediction was actually an accident and he’d forgotten about the aged tweet.

Whether the cryptic foretelling was a fluke or not, Curtis has still made some on-the-nose projections – and he opened up to The U.S. Sun about his predictions for 2025.

Curtis said the new year will bring major updates to crime cases that have captivated national attention for decades, including that of the Menendez brothers.

This year saw Erik and Lyle Menendez catapult back into the public eye after Ryan Murphy’s show about the duo’s murder trial for the 1989 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ings of their parents was released in September.

The brothers have seen a huge swell of support in their fight for freedom after shooting Kitty and Jose Menendez to death – from both their remaining family and members of the public.

Curtis predicts the notorious pair will be released from prison, where they’re serving life sentences without parole, in the new year.

The prediction isn’t out of reach as former Los Angeles County district attorney George Gascón recommended in October that the brothers be resentenced, meaning they could be let out on parole as soon as a decision is made.

Erik and Lyle’s next court date is scheduled for January 30.

A California judge will decide whether to reduce the brothers’ sentences after new DA Nathan Hochman reveals if he shares Gascón’s opinion on the resentencing.

While Curtis predicts exciting news for the Menendez brothers, he doesn’t think Tesla CEO Elon Musk is in good shape for the new year.

Musk was tapped, alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, to co-lead President-elect Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.

However, Curtis doesn’t think Musk will stay on Trump’s good side for long.

“There’s a near 100% chance that Trump throws Elon under the bus in 2025,” the Fark founder said.

“What happens after that isn’t clear.

“Musk probably won’t take it well, what he decides to do next is anyone’s guess.”

Curtis said if a law is passed to allow non-native US citizens to become president, Americans should expect a presidential race between Musk and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2028.

Musk isn’t alone in his potential downfall – Curtis also predicted trouble for one midwestern state.

“More schools and classrooms will ban the word Ohio,” Curtis joked.

“They should have done this a long time ago.”

NO DOOMSDAY PREDICTIONS

Curtis has also predicted World War 3 won’t break out in 2025 because “no one wants in.”

While he doesn’t anticipate WW3 next year, the time traveler said Americans can expect a challenging 12 months.

He predicts we’ll see the hottest year on record and the “worst hurricane season in history on deck.”

Despite predictions of political turmoil and erratic weather, Curtis said he has no place to speak on Doomsday.

“I gave up on predicting the end of the world – you only get so many chances to be right,” Curtis said.

“What really happens is old people keep thinking things are getting progressively worse – while young people keep wondering what all the fuss is about.”

In more lighthearted estimates, Curtis predicted a range of outcomes for the future of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship.

THE FUTURE OF TAYVIS

Speculation about the couple’s future has already been swirling for months as NFL insiders have hinted the A-list pair, who started dating around September 2023, will tie the knot soon.

“Swift and Kelce will get engaged or break up but not before they both go on break from their respective jobs,” Curtis predicted.

The superstar just finished her wildly popular global Eras tour as the NFL season comes to a close in a few weeks, meaning Curtis could already be on track with his projection.

“I realize that sounds like a wide outcome range, but I’m actually predicting they’ll sit down and talk about it once they’re both not working,” he said.

“I also predict that the vast majority of celebrity news for the next few years will consist solely of collections of tweets from bots purporting to not like things celebrities like.

“Wait, that already happened.”
