He pleased the scouts in a lot of ways, but in the shooting drills he truly shined, making 19 of 25 shots from behind the arc to take second overall.
Considering that LeBron has a player option this summer and may decide to leave his 99 million dollar, two-year contract with the team, it is believed that the Lakers would be interested in selecting the 19-year-old guard, if doing so meant signing his father to a maximum contract.
The Phoenix Suns are among the clubs vying to choose Bronny if it means having their father play for them. Several times in the past, LeBron has said that he would like to play alongside his oldest son.
The four-time NBA champion, however, denied rumours that he would join his son as the 2023–24 season drew near, saying before a Lakers game in April that “Bronny’s his own man.” Agent Rich Paul for LeBron has also denied the reports.
LeBron declared two months ago that Bronny will make his own decision and that the family would back him in whatever choice he made.
