What Does Jon Rahm’s Wife Kelley Do for a Living? LIV Golf Pro’s Family Life Explored

Jon Rahm and his wife, Kelly Cahill, faced a difficult pregnancy with their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. Reflecting on the challenging journey, an emotional Rahm said, “She’s doing really good now.” However, times have changed, and the golfer who once couldn’t wait “to get back home to them [Cahill and their 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl]” is now leading a happy life with his little family. Meanwhile, Kelly Cahill, in addition to supporting Rahm, enjoys a vibrant life of her own.

Kelley Cahill was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in February 1994 in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She grew up with her mom, Nancy, her dad, Rob, and her brother, Marty. After they lived in Oregon, her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she graduated from Chaparral High School. While in high school, Kelley played tennis and developed her s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s in sports. But, hey, the best of Kelley Cahill had yet to come.

Kelley went to Arizona State University (ASU) to study biology and global health. While there, she joined the track and field team as a javelin thrower, representing the school known as the Sun Devils. In 2013, she had her best throw of 33.49 meters at the ASU Invitational, finishing in eighth place. However, her best throw was actually a year earlier at the PVCC Outdoor, where she threw 34.51 meters. Looking at this you’d be forgiven to think she turned out to be a sportsperson.

However, despite boosting such a great history with sports, she decided to pursue jewelry making. Yes, she is a jeweller. But just because she invests her time in that does not mean she has fallen out of love with sports. Talking about her athletic s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s, especially when it comes to javelin, Rahm once couldn’t help but say, “[Javelin’s] such a weird motion. You have to rely on overhand strength, and as a golfer, that’s not something I have. She has a lot more overhand strength than I do. And I didn’t want to injure myself.” But why would Kelly Cahill back away from complimenting her husband back?

While appreciating his tennis s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s, Cahill said, “He was so good. I was so upset. I was actually mad for a day or two. We have not stepped foot on a tennis court since.” With so much love between the couple, you have to wonder: how did these two guys even meet?

Jon Rahm designed the wedding ring to secure a future with Kelly Cahill

Jon Rahm’s and Kelly Cahill’s love story is something akin to a romantic movie plot. Rahm and Kelly met for the first time during their freshman fall at Arizona State University when they both went to a Halloween party. Jon wore a SWAT team costume, and Kelly dressed as a referee. What could be more romantic than that? As they spent more time at Arizona State, their friendship grew into a romantic relationship, and in 2016, they officially started dating. Their relationship moved quickly, and by 2018, Rahm mentioned that they had moved in together after just six months.

The couple got married in December 2019 in Rahm’s home country of Spain. But given the love between them, it didn’t come without another movie-like plot! Jon Rahm was so much in love with his girlfriend that he decided to design the wedding ring himself! Talking about the same, the Spaniard said, “She wanted to pick the diamond, but I knew what I wanted. I designed what’s around the ring. It’s supposed to look like a crown and an engraving inside. I had a big part in it. It wasn’t exactly what she wanted, but she loves it. It’s a little more personal like that.”

The happy couple welcomed their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, Kepa, in April 2021, their second 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in Augusta 2022. Two years later, they welcomed their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in March 2024! Needless to say, we have a happy and thriving family to behold.
