However, Charlie turned his disappointment into determination with a solid performance in the first round of the Team TaylorMade Invitational on Monday. At the Streamsong Resort’s Black Course in Bowling Green, Florida, Woods Jr. delivered a rollercoaster round featuring an eagle, eight birdies, five bogeys, a triple bogey, and just three pars on par-three holes.

He shot a 2-under 70, which put him tied for 13th in a field of 72 players, only three shots off the lead held by Tyler Watts and Luke Colton, who both carded impressive 5-under 67s.
