Heartwarming Moment College Student Jumps Out Of Car To Help Homeless Stranger In Need

A college senior in Florida is going viral on TikTok after he was seen giving shoes and clothes to a homeless man.

Video of the incredible moment was captured by TikTok user @amburandlex and posted on Monday, though it’s not clear when it was filmed.

In the video, a shirtless man later identified as Florida A&M senior Jabari Richardson can be seen taking shoes and clothes out of the trunk of his car at a stop on the freeway.

The helping hand was provided off of the exit of I-10 and North Monroe Street in Tallahassee.

A homeless man in Tallahassee was the recipient of a good deed from Jabari Richardson

The homeless man, wearing a face mask and equipped with a cardboard sign, gratefully accepts the clothes from Richardson before walking away as Richardson hops back in the driver’s seat of his car.

‘I don’t know this young man, but he deserves to go viral,’ the driver wrote over the video, identifying the location of the good deed as Tallahassee.

Meanwhile, the song ‘The Good Ones’ by Gabby Barrett plays over the background in a video seen by over 5.3 million people and counting.

Some of the hashtags the post included are ‘#DADMOVES’ and ‘#helpingthehomeless.’

Richardson told WTXL that he was in the process of moving and decided to unload some of his stuff to those in need.

‘As I was growing up, my mom always taught me there’s a lot of people that are in need,’ Richardson said.

He also mentioned that he didn’t know immediately that he had become famous on TikTok.

Richardson said that he was aware of his own good fortune in life, which spurred him to take action with the man he saw on the side of the road.

‘Not everyone’s blessed as I am. My mom always had clothes and shoes on my back. I can definitely take that for granted. Anything can be gone in the blink of an eye.’
