Bradley Beal Reveals How He Can Coexist With Kevin Durant And Devin Booker On The Phoenix Suns

  • Bradley Beal thinks being unselfish is key for him, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant to do well.
  • Beal revealed he has also spoken to his co-stars about how things are going to work.
  • However, Beal also admitted that the partnership will be a “work in progress”

The Phoenix Suns executed the blockbuster trade of the summer, acquiring shooting guard Bradley Beal in a blockbuster trade with the Washington Wizards. Many believe they have the talent to win the 2023-24 championship.

Though the Suns definitely have an elite big three from a talent standpoint, the key is how Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, and Devin Booker will work on the court. When speaking to Deyscha Smith of SLAM, Beal revealed that he has already talked to Booker and Durant about how their partnership can work, but noted that it will also be “a challenge”.

“In terms of our balance, we’ve talked subtly about how this thing can work. We know it won’t be easy. It’ll be a challenge, but the biggest thing is understanding [that our] one goal at the end of the day is winning. You know, we’re all gonna have our own individual goals, but I think the beauty about our group is that we’re so unselfish. And sometimes we might have to, like, yell at each other to shoot the ball or yell at each other to be aggressive because we have that mentality of deferring to the next man.”

The key for the Phoenix Suns, of course, is for their stars to be “unselfish”. There is no doubt that on every championship team, players have to be comfortable in certain roles. It will be interesting to see how the chemistry between the Suns’ three stars develops, and if things go right, the team has a really high ceiling if they can stay healthy.

Bradley Beal Is Expected To Be The Suns’ Starting PG

It seems as though the Phoenix Suns already have a role in mind for Bradley Beal. The team is reportedly planning to use Beal as the starting point guard. Throughout his career, Beal has played shooting guard, and it’ll be interesting to see how he transitions to this new role.

Hopefully, we do see the Phoenix Suns have a successful championship run next season. They are an exciting team with a lot of offensive firepower, but it is clear that they need to develop chemistry to win at the highest level.
