Nine 1968 Dodge Chargers were specifically built for the movie. In specifically, 2 of the 9 were equipped with V8 LS3 engines used in stunt scenes, while the remaining 7 were equipped with V8 llcat engines. The building process for these autos takes up to 4.5 months.
The V8 “MI” engine is derived from the “Cargr” “llcat” model with a standard output of 707 hp. Tuner Performance Tc has increased its power to more than 800 octane gasoline with more power.

A team of seven workers at McCarty’s Visual Effects Department were required to work on this project nonstop for 4.5 months at a rate of 14 to 15 hours per day.
