Will Aaron Rodgers Play in Second Preseason Game?
Cameron Wolfe from NFL Network has reported that Rodgers won’t play in the second preseason game. Jets fans have already missed out on seeing their new quarterback, and it appears they will have to wait even longer to see Rodgers take his first meaningful snaps.
As to when that will be, we may have some information. When speaking to the Michael Kay Show on ESPN a couple of weeks back, head coach Robert Saleh was asked if we will see Rodgers in any preseason action. Saleh’s answer: “We’ll see. If he does, it will be the Giants game.”
The Jets are scheduled to play the Giants in their final preseason game on Aug. 26.
