Justina Onumah attended the University of Ghana for her Doctorate in Development Studies after receiving her Master’s degree.

She said that while her academic journey had not been particularly smooth, she preferred to concentrate on the successes. We’ve all experienced being broken, but we managed to put ourselves back together and move on because we were chasing a title, she added.

“Became a proud mother of 3 (Had 2 before beginning the program)-my greatest achievement, mentored 100s of young girls in #STEM and non-STEM- great joy and fulfilment this has been,” she also added.

Dr Justina Onumah thanked God for seeing her through and also gave credit to her husband who has been very supportive of her. “God has been faithful and my husband Dr Edward E. Onumah has been EXTREMELY SUPPORTIVE,” she said.
