Singer of Cuban and American descent, Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao was ððĻðŦð§ in the United States on March 3, 1997[1] [2]. She is best known for her time as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which she joined after competing on the US edition of X-Factor in 2012 and signing a recording contract with Syco Music and Epic Records at the same time.
Camila and the other members of the group released an extended play (EP) in addition to two studio albums. In December 2016 it was revealed that she was no longer affiliated with the band in any way.
Camila showed off her sððūððs as a solo singer during her time with Fifth Harmony by performing duets with other artists, such as âI Know What You Did Last Summerâ with Shawn Mendes and âBad Thingsâ with Machine Gun Kelly (the latter a #4 hit on the Billboard Hot 100). Following her departure from Fifth Harmony, Camila collaborated with several artists on several songs, including âHey Maâ with Pitbull, âLove Incredibleâ with Cashmere Cat, and her debut solo single âCrying in the Club.â âHey Maâ appeared on the soundtrack of The Fate of the Furious and featured J Balvin.
