After being questioned for five hours about his ex-girlfriend’s allegations that he assaulted her, Manchester United player Antony was seen leaving a police station.

According to reports, the 23-year-old went willingly to the police station to answer to accusations brought by Gabriella Cavallin, his ex-lover.

Arriving from Sao Paulo, Brazil, the winger touched down at Manchester Airport on Monday night to take on the music.

Allegedly, Antony got in touch with Greater Manchester Police and offered to meet with them to be questioned.

He plans to refute the allegations that he assaulted Gabriella, his former lover, cutting her finger and cutting her head.

According to The Times, the Man United star intends to give police his phone to help with their inquiries.

Antony was spotted this afternoon shortly before 4 p.m. leaving his residence in Hale Barns, the former property of Paul Pogba.

Shortly before he left, his current partner Rosalena Silva was also seen exiting the expansive estate.

Then, Antony was observed leaving the police station at approximately 9.30 p.m.

Additionally, he gave consent to be interviewed by Brazilian police in June, and after assisting Sao Paulo police, he was allowed to depart for the UK.

The 22-year-old Gabriela has accused the £85 million winger of hitting her multiple times during their relationship.

When she was pregnant and on vacation in Brazil in June of last year, she said, she was attacked for the first time.

On January 15, the model and DJ claimed that Antony assaulted and headbutted her at a Manchester hotel, breaking a breast implant.

She also said that in May, he hurled a glass at her, breaking her finger.

Like accusations have been made against the football player by two more women.

In light of the grave accusations leveled against him, United has granted Antony an indefinite leave of absence.

The player is being given time off from the team with full pay to concentrate on cleansing his record, the club had previously said on September 10.

The 23-year-old will not be available to Erik ten Hag for the upcoming Red Devils games since that procedure is still ongoing.

A source said: “Antony is adamant he has done nothing wrong and wants to sit down with officers and let them ask him questions.

“He has nothing to hide and will hand over anything they want to see including his mobile phone.

“He wants to be exonerated as quickly as possible so he can get on with his football career again without any distractions.”

Gabriela led the calls in an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday for the £150,000-a-week star to be cut from the team.

Antony denies any wrongdoing and gave a tearful TV interview in which he said: “I know the truth and it will come out.

“I’m 100 per cent sure I never touched a woman and I’ll come up with the evidence.

“I’m sure I’ve never committed physical violence.”
