Neymar Compares Himself To Zico As Another Brazilian Star Without A World Cup Trophy

Neymar reveals his ambitions to play World Cup again and his desire to return to Santos

In a recent interview with TV Globo, Al-Hilal player, Neymar, Jr spoke about his comparison with Zico, the Flamengo icon who never won the World Cup. Neymar, 31, has expressed his desire to return to Brazil to join Santos, the club that discovered him.

During this interview, Neymar also revealed his ambition to participate in another World Cup with the Brazilian national team. The next edition will be held in 2026, with the host countries being Mexico, the United States and Canada. Taking inspiration from Zico, Neymar stressed the importance of a player’s talent and qualities, regardless of World Cup trophies.
