Our dad’s a Man Utd legend and Treble winner – now we’re making our own way as personal trainers of our own gym

SCHOLES GYM is owned and operated by the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren of a Manchester United legend.

The Treble winners’ son and daughter co-own the fitness centre, where they also work as personal trainers.

Paul Scholes’ kids Arron and Alicia opened the state of the art £500,000 facility in Oldham last April.

On the gym’s website, Arron pledges: “We aim to be more than just a gym. Our environment is warm and friendly.

“Here you will be surrounded with hard work, dedication and positivity.”

Having previously played and coached football, he now specialises in body transformations, group workouts and performance training.

Both Arron and Alicia, who is a part-time netball player, are qualified personal trainers and work as coaches at Scholes Gym.

Alicia balances her time training clients with her netball career in London.

She plays as a wing attack and centre for the London Pulse in the Netball Superleague.

As well as coaching netball, Alicia also specialises in sports performance and strength and conditioning training.

Her close relationship with her dad stunned fans in 2021, though, after she shared a viral video to her Instagram.

The clip showed Scholes appearing to chew his daughter’s toenails, prompting rival supporters to tease the United icon.

Meanwhile, Arron’s 21st 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day bash three years ago resulted in a visit from police.

Scholes threw an illegal house party in a Covid crisis area to celebrate his son’s milestone 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day during lockdown.

He was given the hairdryer treatment by police in August 2020 after dozens of youngsters flouted social distancing rules at the party.

The siblings’ business venture sees them take inspiration from their family’s sporting history.

Their ex-England midfielder dad spent his entire playing career with United.

During that time he made 716 appearances and scored 155 goals for the Red Devils.

Scholes also won 22 major trophies, including 11 league titles and the treble in 1999.

He met Arron and Alicia’s mum Claire at his local pub when they were 18 before they tied the knot six years later.

As well as the business partners, they also have a third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together, son Aiden.
