Mahomes is currently resting easy after leading the Chiefs to a 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night in freezing conditions.

Meanwhile, the Bills will play the Steelers at Highmark Stadium at 4:30 pm ET on Monday afternoon after the game was postponed from Sunday due to extreme weather in Buffalo.

If the Bills beat the Steelers, they are scheduled to host the Chiefs at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, January 21, at 6:30 pm.

It means the Chiefs will have two extra days’ rest over the Bills.

The game would also mark Mahomes’ first road game of his playoff career.

Should the Steelers win, the Chiefs are due to host the Houston Texans at 4:30 pm on Saturday, January 20.

Mahomes passed three NFL legends on an all-time list after his latest playoff win.

The quarterback threw 262 yards and passed for a touchdown, despite near-record low temperatures.

After the victory, it was revealed that Mahomes has the eighth most playoff wins in NFL history with 12.

As a result, Mahomes has passed Aaron Rodgers as well as Dallas Cowboys legends Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach on the all-time playoff win list.

Mahomes also cracked his helmet in a bizarre moment during the playoff matchup with the Dolphins.

A piece of Mahomes’ helmet came flying off after a head-on collision with Dolphins safety DeShon Elliott in the third quarter.

After spotting the huge hole in his headwear, the officials stopped the play clock and sent the Chiefs star to the sidelines so he could change the damaged equipment.

Mahomes quickly grabbed a new helmet from Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire before returning to the field without missing a single play.

NBC announcer Mike Tirico found the situation “kind of interesting.”
