Bills supporters: Taylor Swift is welcome in Buffalo, but Brittany Mahomes is not

Mahomes has been warned to stay away

Buffalo Bills fans have warned Patrick Mahomes‘ wife Brittany to stay away from their playoffs clash when they meet the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

In one of the most anticipated clashes of the weekend, two of NFL’s star quarterbacks, Mahomes and Bills‘ Josh Allen, will go head-to-head in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Bills fans: Brittany Mahomes 'not welcome' in Buffalo, but Taylor Swift is

The Bills eased their way past the Pittsburgh Steelers with a 31-17 scoreline, while the Chiefs battled through freezing temperatures to overcome the Miami Dolphins 26-7.

But away from the field, Brittany Mahomes has been told to keep away from Bills Stadium by the home fans, who aren’t keen on hosting the mother-of-two.

One fan on Reddit said: “Begging Brittany to stay out of Buffalo”, while another said they were “beyond not looking forward to having her here”.

Another user on the social media platform even suggested that Taylor Swift would be welcome to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce in the stands – which she has done regularly since they began dating – but not Mahomes.

“I’m all about Taylor Swift coming to Buffalo but this chick [Brittany Mahomes] can stay the hell home,” they wrote.

Given how often Brittany makes the trip to see her husband in action, it seems unlikely that she will grant their wish.

The retired soccer star, 28, is Patrick‘s biggest cheerleader and often backs him up on social media if he is receiving criticism, as well as embracing him on the sidelines with their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, Sterling Skye, two and Patrick ‘Bronze’ Mahomes, who is 13 months old.

Mahomes looking forward to Allen match-up

In the build-up to the clash, quarterback Mahomes took some time out to lavish praise on his friend Allen. But the one-time Super Bowl winner admits that they will put their friendship aside when they take to the field on Sunday night.

Josh is a great dude. I respect the way he plays football and just the guy that he is,” Mahomes said.

“But when two guys that are ultra-competitive that are friends off the field go up against each other, we obviously both want to win.

“We see each other in the offseason, and you want to have a little bit of those bragging rights.”
