She added: “This place is horrible, people already yelling every time I stand up, am I not [allowed] to stand up for football game? I was told if I stand they will call security and kick us out, can’t stand for your team? Gillette security came and got us and moved us to a safe place ?? that’s how you know it was bad??”
That wasn’t the only time that people said that Patrick Mahomes’ wife acted strangely at an NFL game. In 2022, Brittany Mahomes opened a champagne bottle when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills. Since some champagne spilled on members of the crowd, people were upset and said that she shouldn’t have done that.
According to The New York Post, Brittany did receive some kind messages, as she was clearly happy for Patrick and just trying to have fun. As The New York Post reported, one of Brittany’s fans wrote on social media, “Imagine your team winning in one of the best games in NFL history… Then complaining about how devoted, excited and proud Brittany is of her man and this team. Y’all are weird …”
As Redditor @Reggiewiggleworth posted in the Taylor and Travis SubReddit, the people in the crowd actually seemed okay with this situation and wanted Brittany to open some champagne. The Redditor wrote:
“But the people in the stands weren’t the ones complaining. There are also videos from the stands of people asking her to do it. It was a rowdy party.”
People were so upset about Brittany that there was even a rumor that Patrick didn’t want Brittany going to NFL games. According to Us Weekly, Rich Ohrnberger said, “Ultimately it concluded with him asking them to not attend any games this upcoming season. Not surprisingly, Mahomes believes that Jackson and Brittany have become a distraction, and their sideline antics are bad for his brand. A lot can change over an offseason, but for now that’s the story as it was told to me.”
When Brittany said “Y’all just be making stuff up these days,” Ohrnberger said he couldn’t confirm what he said and added, “I can’t substantiate the information that I tweeted out earlier today regarding Patrick Mahomes and his family. The source I received this information from was posing as someone I trust. I will delete this tweet later today along with the original thread. Please pass this along.”
