Tiger Woods Remains Hungry Despite Majors Agony As 6x PGA Tour Champ Reveals Unexpected Chat

Do you also think that Tiger Woods has lost his charm? If you do, then you are in for a surprise. The golf icon whose name is synonymous with excellence, has been in a slump. His last win was in 2019, which many refer to as his resurgence, but Woods appears to be long gone, especially after the kind of season he had this year.

Dead last, missed cut, missed cut, and another missed cut. This is what his four majors looked like. You might think that 15x major winner is done, but not him, and not one of his friends, Padraig Harrington. According to Padraig Harrington, a six-time PGA Tour winner and longtime friend, Woods may be more affected by these setbacks than he lets on. He recently had a private exchange with Woods and found out that the latter is looking forward to joining the senior tour.

“I met Tiger recently and he said he was looking forward to coming out onto the Champions Tour. So he has an intention of playing. I think his words were, ‘I can’t wait to beat you out on the Champions Tour or something like that’.” Harrington revealed to Today’s Golfer. The Irish golfer elaborated on Woods’s lighthearted jab and said, “He doesn’t want me to have it all my own way, let’s put it like that! I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

He’ll be able to get in a cart, and he’ll absolutely 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 everybody.” Nicklaus’s comments echo the sentiments of Woods’s former caddie, Joe LaCava, who hinted that Woods plans to test the waters on the senior tour. As December 30, 2025, approaches, marking Woods’s eligibility for the Champions Tour, the golf world is bracing for impact. As he approaches this new chapter in his career, it’s clear that he remains committed to his craft and is ready to take on the best in the senior circuit.  But the question on everyone’s mind is: Will he?
