Amber Heard’s life after the noisy lawsuit with ex-husband Johnny Depp

Amber Heard has moved to Spain with her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard to seek a more peaceful and quiet life after her noisy legal battle with ex-husband – actor Johnny Depp took place in 2022.

Amber first shared her new life last summer when she spoke to local reporters on the street. In a video shared on TikTok, she said in Spanish: “I love Spain so much.” Amber was later asked if she planned to stay in Madrid, to which she said: “Yes, I hope so. Yes, I love living here.”

Amber is currently living in Madrid – the capital of Spain after the defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband Johnny Depp caused a stir 2 years ago.

Amber has remained silent since the end of the trial, which went to Johnny. The Aquaman star said there was so much “chaos” following the verdict that she left the US in search of a more peaceful life.

When Amber first left the US, she moved to the Spanish island of Mallorca , then relocated to an upscale neighbourhood in Madrid, where a source said she “got more privacy”.

In July 2021, Amber Heard surprised the audience when she posted a picture of her new𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. And the most asked question at that time was “Who is really the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦’s father?” because Amber had been divorced from Johnny Depp for 5 years, ended her nearly 2-year relationship with billionaire Elon Musk and was dating her same-𝓈ℯ𝓍 lover – cameraman Bianca Butti. At this time, she shared that because she could not conceive, she sought out surrogacy and chose a sperm donor.

Amber is reportedly happy to be raising her daughter away from the noise. In 2023, Amber returned to the screen in the independent horror film In the Fire , and the film’s director Conor Allyn praised Amber’s “sacrifice” for her daughter: “She’s really good at spending time with Oonagh. She’s living her best life in Spain and finding happiness in some way.”

Speaking about how she integrated with the locals, Miguel, a grocer in the town where Amber lives, said: “She was like any other normal person. She bought fruit and vegetables, spoke Spanish with a Mexican accent and was very polite, she always said good morning to us.” He added: “Everyone here treated Amber Heard like any other normal person. In fact, she had been in this town for months without anyone knowing.”

The 6-year blockbuster lawsuit between Johnny Depp – Amber Heard officially ended in 2022, with the jury returning a verdict in Johnny’s favor.

A source close to Amber said she decided to move abroad for more privacy after being turned away by many fans. “The trial was too stressful for her and Amber just wants to start her life abroad again. She is eager to work and film again,” the source added to People. ” She is exhausted and disappointed with the outcome of the case. She feels mistreated.”
