The Model M: Elon Musk A Cybertruck-Inspired Tesla Motorcycle That You Just Can’t Ignore

Tesla cars are quite possibly the benchmark in the mass-market EV space and it’s high time that the American EV giant threw its hat in the e-bike ring too.

Picturing exactly that, designer Víctor Rodríguez Gómez has rendered the Tesla Model M (M for motorcycle, duh) inspired by the Cybertruck and it’s something both enthusiasts, as well as Elon Musk himself, would potentially dig.

Tesla Model M Electric Motorcycle Render

One look at the Model M and it looks futuristic as ever, oozing a proper Tron kinda vibe. Upfront, the Tesla motorcycle dons a sleek Cybertruck-inspired horizontal LED ᵴtriƥ-type headlight.Complementing this is a fairly chunky yet edgy center section that holds the battery pack, motor, and all other internals. Meanwhile, there’s an LED tail lamp with an integrated charging socket outback.

The first sketches show that the touchpoints; (handlebar, footpegs, and seat) of the Tesla motorcycle came from cafe racers, which is why you see a low handlebar and slightly rear-set footpegs. As a result, this should make the Model M a pretty capable corner carver.

Besides, everything is brought together by über-cool hubless wheels boasting LEDs on the tire wall, the red-black rider seat (no space for a pillion here), and the metallic grey paint scheme, again inspired by the Cybertruck.

Since this caters to the urban audience (in the urban jungle), the designer has instilled some pretty cool touches to top off the radical design. For instance, the handlebars are foldable and integrate into the bike’s body to save space when not riding. Similarly, the center section (that includes the battery) of the motorcycle is removable and can be carried like a backpack, doubling up as an anti-theft measure.

In addition, the cockpit comprises a transparent instrument cluster (almost like a heads-up display) featuring turn-by-turn navigation and other vital information.

Final Thoughts

So wrapping it up, this render of the Tesla motorcycle is by far one of the coolest ones yet and what makes it even more impressive is the attention to detail.

As dapper as this might be though, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has made it pretty clear that the company won’t be foraying into the two-wheeler space anytime soon. To jog your memory, the closest Tesla product we’ve gotten to anything with a handlebar, let alone two wheels, is the Cyberquad that’s primarily just for kids. }
