Fans took to Reddit to discuss what they want to see from season 6 of ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu, with many fans all in agreement about what they want it to look like

The Kardashians are currently filming season 6 of their Hulu reality show, which was renewed in July for 20 more episodes, and fans are begging the famous family to make some changes.

Fans took to Reddit to discuss what they would like to see from the upcoming season of ‘The Kardashians,’ and there seems to be a common thread.

In light of their connections to the disgraced rapper and mogul P. Diddy, it’s probably best that the Kardashians not alienate themselves from their fanbase, who want to see the “real” in “reality.”

One user put it rather succinctly: “One word: candid.”

The consensus amongst fans seems to be that they want there to be more genuine moments between the famous family. It seems they are losing touch with their audience, who used to tune in because of their unfiltered authenticity. One user said, “I think the difference between KUWTK and The Kardashians is the cameras followed their daily lives on KUWTK. The Hulu show they literally plan to sit in their living room and film these staged/planned conversations. We got to see them fighting, gossiping, eating, drinking, having real conversations, negotiating deals, Kris yelling at her kids etc. we just want to see them being real.”

Now, their image comes off to viewers as very contrived, like they are always performing or promoting one of their many brands. Fans are clamoring for some relatability.

While their popularity and fame have skyrocketed since the days of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, what made the show a hit was exactly what fans are wanting from them now. One user wrote that they wanted to see them do “[w]hat they used to do. Hanging out together, being candid, and joking and laughing as sisters.” They went on to say that “[i]t used to remind me of hanging out with my three sisters and getting into shenanigans together. Now it just feels like watching a long, drawn out ad.”

At the end of the day, the show has always been about the life of the Kardashians as a family, not as celebrities. As another user put it, “the show [is] at its best, when it revolves around a family making memories together. Traveling or having a meal together seemed to be the most natural and fun moments together.”

If the Kardashians don’t want to lose their viewers, especially in the midst of their many scandals, they need to switch it up and go back to the way the show used to be. Their fans love them because of who they genuinely are, not who they are pretending to be.
