The NBA is considering an idea to resume the championship in front of fans… or not. In the meantime, NBA players must try to stay in shape with an impeccable lifestyle, which is not the case for everyone.
Lebron James may have stolen his son Bryce Maximus’ phone to make TikToks, but he still stays in shape. The King trains relentlessly to be physically ready, but also mentally. Here again, we can see him on social networks, where he sometimes reveals his workouts, very often with his wife Savannah. He tries to keep the same pace of life, although sometimes (often) accompanied by a good bottle of wine.
He is no longer in the first flush of youth, he can no longer get out of bed and go play at 210%. At his old age, he must take care of his body and above all, have a healthy lifestyle. At 30 years old, preparation is even more important than the effort itself and he therefore acts accordingly. He tries to do things well between two or three Instagram stories and during an interview with People magazine, he says :
“I’m still training every day – I’m not taking any days off,” James said. “Staying in touch with my teammates and the staff, doing everything we can to stay mentally and physically prepared for whatever may come our way.”
A great attitude from Lebron James that is not surprising. Lance Stephenson for example, had declared last week that the King had the best work ethic in the league. It is quite strange to think that next Wednesday sounded like the end of the regular season and that the playoffs were to start Saturday next week. It has been a month since the big league stopped, yet it is an eternity for the players and the fans.
Lebron James should perhaps give lessons to some players, notably Donovan Mitchell. The latter for example went to bed at 6 am, having played on the console for about ten hours straight. We should not blame him because locked up, life must not always be easy to train every day with the same motivation.
