In his latest tweet, Haney replied to a fan’s tweet who was referring to LIV Golf’s format as more enjoyable compared to that of the PGA Tour. ” LIV was much more fun”, said the fan to which Haney expressed that he believes that the current golf landscape is fragmented and in need of a unified approach. The existing golf pie is only so big, and he thinks that the focus should shift towards creating a worldwide professional golf tour.
He finds it puzzling that it has taken so long for a plan to emerge, and he wonders if poor management is to blame. “The current golf pie is only so big.
