Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor race away on Triumph motorbike as they film high-stake jewellery heist scenes outside Harrods for new film Lockdown

Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor were spotted filming their new film Lockdown in the dead of night in London on Tuesday.

The actress, 37, and Chiwetel, 43, star as Linda and Paxton, who are a sparing couple who call a truce in order to set up an elaborate jewellery heist at Harrods amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Anne and Chiwetel were seen filming high-action scenes on motorbikes just outside the famous department store, with surrounding roads in Knightsbridge cornered off.

Anne transformed into criminal Linda, trying to go incognito for the heist in an all-black ensemble.

The actress was spotted driving down Brompton Road on a flashy Triumph motorcycle, with a satchel slung over her shoulder.

While the sequence of events are unclear at this point, Anne also rode on the back of the bike with 12 Years A Slave star Chiwetel driving.

The pair both had big smiles on their faces as they approached Harrods.

In the film, Linda and Paxton are a sparing couple who decide to call a truce in order to set up an elaborate heist amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Hathaway and Ejiofor are set to join a star-studded cast, as it was reported by Deadline on Thursday that producers are in advanced talks with Ben Stiller, Lily James, Stephen Merchant, Dulé Hill, Jazmyn Simon and Mark Gatiss to sign up.

Production kicked off in London late last month for the comedy drama helmed by director and creator Doug Liman.

Once the truce between Linda and Paxton is called, the couple attempt to set up a high-stakes jewellery heist at world famous department store, Harrods.

The project marks a reunion for Hathaway and Knight, who previously directed the actress in the mystery thriller, Serenity.

The production is filming under strict coronavirus guidelines, with crew members spotted wearing face masks.

P.J. van Sandwijk is producing with Alison Winter and Michael Lesslie, with AGC’s Ford and Miguel Palos onboard as executive producers.

The producers of the project are reportedly earmarking a modest $10 million or less budget, reports Coming Soon, despite its all-star cast.
