Tiger Woods gives four-word verdict on YouTube star Grant Horvat after golf legend was asked to give advice

Tiger Woods had a hilarious response when asked for advice by YouTube golf star Grant Horvat.

The 15-time major champion recently spent a day with Horvat, one of the sport’s biggest online personalities.

The YouTuber has previously played with the likes of Phil Mickelson, Tony Finau, John Daly Jr. and NFL star Josh Allen.

On Tuesday, Horvat posted a video with Woods in which the former world No 1 offered him tips on how to hit his woods.

Their first lesson covered hitting off the floor ‘because that’s something that I struggle with,’ Horvat said.

‘For me, if anything, when I hit off the deck like this, height is an issue. So getting higher – I don’t know if it’s ball position, path, what it is,’ he told Woods.

The YouTuber then smoked a shot down the fairway. After watching the ball fly for a few seconds, Woods simply responded: ‘What’s wrong with that?’ The former world No 1 then let out a chuckle. ‘What’s wrong with that?’ he repeated.

The video dropped on Tuesday, just hours before Tiger and Rory McIlroy launched their new TGL venture.

TGL, which was initially slated to launch last January, will see some of the best players in golf face off in a semi-virtual match at a purpose-built arena in Florida.

The teams of three will tee off from a real grass tee box into a giant, 64ft by 53ft, simulator screen. Their approach shots can be taken from either natural grass fairway, rough or sand. Then, for chip shots and putts, they will move on to a specially-designed green.

Tuesday’s opening night will see New York Golf Club – made up of Rickie Fowler, Matt Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele – take on The Bay Golf club, which features Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry and Wyndham Clark.
