Nikki Glaser –– a self-proclaimed major Swiftie –– explained why she would “never” go up to Taylor Swift at a public event.

“Everyone wants a piece. I will never be the one to be like, ‘Excuse me’ –– ever,” the Golden Globes 2025 host said on Monday’s episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast, “Armchair Expert.”

The comedian maintained her stance when she saw her at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.

“It’s almost rude what I do when I’m in the same room as Taylor Swift, because I won’t even look her way,” Glaser shared. “It will take [her tapping me on the shoulder].”

Glaser pointed out that during award shows, “everyone” is trying to get the singer’s attention, and she doesn’t want to be part of the mix.

“Of course she would be so nice,” she clarified. “I know exactly how it would go down, but I don’t wanna take someone’s energy away [when] I require their energy to be put into making great music. I don’t want her to make a less great song because she had to be like, ‘Nice to meet you,’ and like, hold me as I’m crying.”

The “Someday You’ll Die” jokester previously admitted to spending nearly $100,000 to see Swift perform at her Eras Tour concerts a whopping 22 times.

Meghan Markle pulled a Taylor Swift by leaving Easter Eggs — or hints — about her upcoming projects in her latest Instagram upload.

On Friday, the Duchess of Sus𝓈ℯ𝓍 shared a photo of her “memory”-filled vision board and eagled-eyed fans noticed she sneakily included hints about what’s to come.

Meghan Markle took a page out of Taylor Swift’s book.

Markle pinned two labels for her raspberry preserves, which were already stamped with her “As Ever” branding.

She also seemingly shared a glimpse at her new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” by including a snapshot with guest Alice Waters.

As Swifties know, the pop star also famously leaves secret messages for her fans to decipher in the lead-up to new projects.
