Martinez Shares Fun In The Sun With Former Ajax Teammates On Instagram

Lisandro Martinez, the Argentine defender who spent his first season at  Manchester United  before suffering a serious injury, has taken to social media to post a travel photo with friends and former Ajax teammates. Martinez, who was an integral part of the Ajax team that reached the  Champions League  semi-finals in the 2018-2019 season, has been in rehabilitation since his injury in the match against Sevilla.

The photo was posted on Martinez’s  Instagram account , where he shared a snapshot of himself and his  Ajax teammates  enjoying a day out in the sun. The photo shows Martinez smiling and relaxing with his friends, with the caption “Good times with good people ”. The photo has since garnered thousands of likes and comments from fans around the world.

Martinez’s rehabilitation has been ongoing since the injury he suffered in the Europa League match against Sevilla, which saw him stretchered off the field in the first half. The injury was later revealed to be a serious knee injury, which required surgery and months of rehabilitation.

Despite his injury, Martinez has remained positive and determined to return to the field as soon as possible. In an interview with Manchester United’s official website, Martinez revealed that he was working hard every day to regain his fitness and get back to playing football. He also expressed his gratitude to the club and its fans for their support during his recovery.

“I’m working hard every day to get back to playing footballand I’m grateful for the support I’ve received from the club and the fans,” Martinez said. “It’s been a difficult time for me, but I’m determined to come back stronger and help the team in any way I can.”

Martinez’s injury came at a crucial time for Manchester United, as they were in the midst of a push for a top-four finish in the  Premier League  and a Europa League title. Although they were able to secure a second-place finish in the league, they ultimately fell short in the  Europa League final , losing to Villarreal in a penalty shootout.

Despite the disappointment of the Europa League final, Manchester United fans remain excited about Martinez’s potential and what he can bring to the team when he returns to full fitness. The versatile defender, who can play both as a centre-back and a  defensive midfielder , was one of the standout performers for Ajax in the 2018-2019 season, and his performances earned him a move to Manchester United.

With Martinez still in rehabilitation, it remains to be seen when he will be able to make his return to the field. However, his recent  Instagram post  suggests that he is in good spirits and enjoying spending time with his friends and former teammates.  Manchester United fans  will be hoping to see him back in action soon, as they look to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League and  European titles  next season.
