For a while now, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the chance to interview the incredible photographer, Kilians Schoenberger. Hailing from Germany, Kilians has made an impressive transition from amateur to professional photographer. In this exclusive interview, he shares his thoughts on photography, his inspirations, post-processing techniques, and tips for aspiring photographers.
What sets Kilians’ photographs apart is the breathtaking expanse of nature captured within them – a vivid wide openness that exudes a gentle calmness. His commanding point of view takes his photography to another level, leaving his viewers in awe.
We asked Kilians what initially sparked his interest in landscape photography and what inspires him. He explained that he has always been fascinated by landscapes, nature and history, as well as old legends and fairy tales. While studying geography at university, he had the opportunity to travel to Egypt, Iceland, Norway, and beyond, all of which further fuelled his passion for photography.
