“Im Not Ever Coming Back!” Boosie Goes Off On Attorney General For Takin Legal Action On Boosie Bash

In a heated response to legal threats from Louisiana Attorney General Liz Merl, rapper Boosie Badazz announced his plans to move the popular Boosie Bash event out of the state. Frustrated with ongoing legal challenges and claiming that efforts to undermine him are personal, Boosie expressed his intention to take the festival on the road, potentially expanding to multiple states including Arkansas, Texas, and Florida.

Boosie’s comments followed a controversy regarding the event’s promotional use of the name and image of Caleb Wilson, a young man who tragically died in a hazing incident earlier this year. While Boosie confirmed his intention to honor Wilson through a scholarship fund, Merl’s office contended that Wilson’s family was not informed about the use of his name for the festival’s promotion. They described this as a “dramatic misrepresentation” aimed at profiting from a family’s loss.

In his video announcement, Boosie expressed his disappointment with the legal actions, stating, “These people trying to take me down… I just don’t think I’m going back to my city.” He revealed plans to invest significantly in the festival’s expansion, seeking venues across various states. Boosie emphasized that his initial motivation for the event was philanthropic, aimed at supporting Wilson’s family and community.

The Attorney General’s office, set to initiate legal proceedings, insists that Boosie and his team owe an apology to Wilson’s family, highlighting the need for sensitive handling of such matters. As Boosie prepares to move forward with his plans, he is calling on fans to suggest cities for the potential new Boosie Bash tour, underscoring his commitment to continue the event despite the challenges he faces in Louisiana.
