Vonn, who also hosted the lavish awards bash in 2022, was back to lead proceedings once again this time around.
The skiing sensation wore a stylish black trousers, bra and blazer combination by Dolce & Gabbana.
She posed for several pictures on the red carpet as she made her way into the venue.
Several high-profile stars were in Madrid to receive their gongs.
Simone Biles was named the Sportswoman of the Year for a record-equalling fourth time.
While Swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis earned the Sportsman of the Year award.
Recently retired tennis superstar Rafael Nadal received a Sporting Icon gong.
And Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal was named the Laureus World Breakthrough of the Year.

Vonn returned to professional skiing last year following a five-year retirement.
After undergoing knee surgery last April, the Minnesotan was able to return to the sport.
Vonn, who dated golf legend Tiger Woods between 2013 and 2015, scored the first podium of her return at the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho last month.
She has signalled her intention to earn a spot on Team USA for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
