Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, had a scandal free Jumbotron experience at a Coldplay concert on Sunday after his MLS suspension.
The Inter Miami captain — who served a one-match ban by MLS against FC Cincinnati on Saturday for missing last week’s All-Star Game in Austin, Texas — and the model took in the concert with their three 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren from at private suite at Hard Rock Stadium, as seen in Instagram photos the couple shared.
Messi, 38, and Roccuzzo, 37, were all smiles and greeted with cheers from the crowd in Miami as they were blasted on Coldplay’s now famous “kiss cam.”
It went a lot smoother than the viral “kiss cam” moment at Coldplay’s concert at Gillette Stadium a few weeks prior, when former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught on camera with Kristin Cabot, the company’s HR executive, on July 16.
Both Bryon and Cabot, who are married, resigned from their respective positions after the public fallout from the video — which showed them ducking and hiding from the camera as Coldplay singer Chris Martin speculated “they’re having an affair” on the mic.

Pete DeJoy, co-founder and chief product officer, is currently serving as the interim CEO, and Astronomer recently hired Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, to do a damage control commercial.
Messi avoided any negative press and enjoyed Coldplay’s final U.S. show on their Music of the Spheres World Tour with his family on Sunday.
One snapshot showed the couple, with sons Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, smiling in the suite.

“Thanks for coming today to see our band play, the No. 1 sports person of all time,” Martin said of Messi.
Afterward, the crowd began chanting, “Messi! Messi!”
The former Barcelona star is “extremely upset” after being issued a one-game suspension for missing the MLS All-Star Game, said Inter Miami co-owner, Jorge Mas.

Messi, along with left-back Jordi Alba, were sidelined for Miami’s goalless home draw against FC Cincinnati on Saturday.
Inter Miami said it was their decision, and not the players’, to have them sit out of the All-Star Game last Wednesday due to health.
The team informed the league that Messi and Alba would not attend the All-Star Game after playing nine matches in the past 36 days.
MLS commissioner Don Garber said the league “take a hard look at the policy moving forward,” adding “I’m committed to working with our players to determine how the rule should evolve.”
Messi’s contract with Inter Miami expires after the 2025 season.
