Before being adopted by Angelina Jolie, the two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were abandoned and did not know who their father was. When they grew up, the two biological mothers were said to want to reclaim their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, but the female star’s attitude was completely different.

Zahara was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in a poor village in the African country of Ethiopia in January 2005. Young mother Mentewab Dawit Lebiso gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to Zahara at the age of 19 and that 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl was not what Mentewab expected because she became pregnant because she was forced by a man.

When the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, the miserable mother named her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 Yemsrach (meaning “good news”) in the hope that her daughter’s life would be brighter than her mother’s. However, the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 was very stunted and sickly while Mentewab was too poor and exhausted from 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡.

With the thought that he could not raise his daughter, Mentewab decided to leave. In a later interview, Mentewab corrected that she did not abandon her, but intentionally put her daughter up for adoption to have a better future.

Meanwhile, Pax Thien (𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 Pham Quang Sang) was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on November 29, 2003 in Ho Chi Minh City. Soon after being 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in the hospital, Pax was rejected by his mother – an addict and unmarried. Pax’s father is said to be a married man and was not even aware of the existence of this illegitimate 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

Pax’s maternal grandparents took the boy to the Tam Binh Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City. At that time, Pax was severely malnourished, only 2.1 kg. Caregivers at Tam Binh camp said that when Pax was first brought in, he was very weak, his whole body was severely scabies and he cried all day.

After being treated and cared for by the medical staff, the boy gradually got better. Pax is increasingly bright, cute but a withdrawn and extremely quiet 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

Fateful meeting with Hollywood star

When Zahara was 6 months old, she was noticed by Angelina Jolie when the female star visited the Wide Horizons For Children orphanage in Ethiopia. Angelina wishes to protect and take care of this very small and weak 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. She quickly adopted Zahara and brought her back to America.

At that time, Angelina was only dating Brad Pitt and was a single mother of Cambodian adopted son Maddox. A year later, when Angelina and Brad had completely publicized their relationship, “Mr. Smith” applied to be the father of both Maddox and Zahara. The two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren began to bear the last name Jolie Pitt.

When Zahara came to America, she was always hugged by her mother and carried on her chest whenever she went out. The adopted daughter grew up in Jolie’s arms, becoming a strong and agile girl.

Zahara lives in an environment filled with love from her adoptive parents and is cared for with the best conditions in Jolie Pitt’s million-dollar mansion in Los Angeles.

And Pax Thien was almost 3 years old when he first met Jolie. In November 2006, Angelina Jolie went to Tam Binh Sponsoring Center to do charity and wanted to adopt a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. That day, while the other 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were all wrapped up around Jolie, Pax was taciturn and stood alone in a corner of the room.

But because of that difference, Jolie noticed the boy. In March 2007, the female star returned to Vietnam to adopt Pax Thien.

The Vietnamese boy came to the Hollywood couple’s home when they had Maddox, Zahara and their biological daughter Shiloh – all very young. However, because Pax was very shy and afraid of strangers, Angelina and Brad Pitt paid a lot of attention to the boy. The star couple always holds Pax when going out and helps him adjust to his new environment.

Like with Zahara, the love and care of his adoptive parents, especially Jolie’s mother, transformed Pax from a timid, fearful 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 into a strong, active and confident boy.

As Zahara and Pax Thien grow up every day, their biological mothers still silently monitor their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s lives through information in the press.

Those two women are both tormented because they once abandoned their young 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren because of ironic circumstances, but they also thank God that they were raised by a wonderful mother like Angelina Jolie.

Pax Thien’s mother – Pham Thu Dung once shared in an interview many years ago: “My life has had its downfalls and Pax Thien was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 to me, but I couldn’t give her a beautiful life. I am very grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Pitt – Jolie for raising Pax Thien and giving him a future that I couldn’t do.”

There are some rumors, the biological mother of Pax Thien and Zahara both want to receive the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, but Angelina Jolie’s attitude is completely different. With Pax Thien, Angelina Jolie is said to have opened up to her son about her biological mother, and with her daughter, the complete opposite.
