Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their daughter, Stormi, in 2018, and their son, Aire, in 2022.

Kylie Jenner is a mom of two! The 26-year-old businesswoman and media mogul shares two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren — Stormi Webster, her 6-year-old daughter, and Aire Webster, her 2-year-old son — with her ex-partner, the rapper Travis Scott. (The two split in January 2023 after an on-and-off relationship that spanned nearly five years; Jenner is now in a relationship with the actor Timothée Chalamet.)

Since first becoming a mom in 2018, Jenner has shared glimpses into her family life with her 398 million Instagram followers. On Mother’s Day in 2022, she addressed being a young mom in a sweet Instagram caption for her daughter: “Being a young mom just means we met a little early and I get to love you a little longer,” she said.

The KHY founder has also been candid about her experience with postpartum depression, which she experienced after both pregnancies. “The first time was very difficult, the second was more manageable,” she told Vogue Italia in 2023. “I would tell [women who experience it] not to overthink things and to live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest. Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful. I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true: the hormones—the emotions at that stage—are much, much more powerful and bigger than you. My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath. The risk is to miss all the most beautiful things of motherhood as well.”

Of her parenting style, Jenner said that she’s “interested in the idea of imparting to [her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren] an education in how to take control and accept responsibility for their choices. I think that is very important.”

Stormi Webster

In February 2018, Jenner broke the internet when she shared that she’d given 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to her first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, Stormi Webster, after keeping the entirety of her pregnancy under wraps. Stormi was delivered at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, weighing 8 pounds., 9 ounces.

“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” she wrote on Instagram, revealing that Stormi arrived on February 1. “I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.” (Jenner also shared a montage of intimate, candid videos from her pregnancy on YouTube.)

In October 2018, during a Halloween makeup tutorial with YouTuber James Charles, Jenner explained the significance of her daughter’s name: “I was looking [at] nature names, like weather, Earth-inspired…Storm was on there and I said, ‘I kind of want an “ie,” like me.’ So I did Stormie and it was always Stormie. I mean, I bought custom things for her that said ‘ie’ and bought her the blocks that said ‘ie,’” she said.

However, when she was finalizing the name with the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 certificate office, she made a snap change. “They were like, ‘How do you want to spell it?’ And I was like, ‘S-T-O-R-M-I.’ They were like, ‘You sure?’ I said, ‘Yeah, just an I.’ Literally right then and there, I just changed it to an I. I said, ‘Damn, I guess that’s her name.’ And I called Travis [Scott] and said, ‘I didn’t put an E and went with an I.”

Since Stormi’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, Jenner has shared glimpses into their lives together on her Instagram, in honor of special occasions like her 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and her graduation from pre-kindergarten, as well as smaller moments like a mother-daughter trip to Ulta Beauty.

Stormi has also accompanied her mom on the red carpet. In 2019, she made her first red carpet appearance alongside her parents at the premiere of the Netflix documentary Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly. She’s also attended the 72nd annual Parsons Benefit in 2021, the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, and, most recently, Valentino’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Of Stormi’s personality, Jenner has said she is the “perfect mixture” of both of her parents. “She’s definitely like a little rager; she loves music,” she told Ellen Degeneres in 2019.

But recently, in a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, Jenner spoke about wanting to protect her daughter’s privacy, asking Jessica Testa, the reporter, not to quote Stormi when she popped into the room during their interview. “We can’t do that to her,” Jenner said. “She’s innocent. She comes in here, and she doesn’t know we’re doing an interview and then she has these quotes out in the open and she’s 6 years old. It’s my responsibility to protect her.”

In September 2021, Jenner confirmed her second pregnancy with a touching video on Instagram. On February 2, 2022—just one day after Stormi’s 4th 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day—she welcomed her son at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Originally, the Kylie Cosmetics founder named her first son Wolf Jacques Webster, with his middle name as a nod to Travis Scott’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 name.

However, during the season 3 finale of Hulu’s The Kardashians, she said she regretted her choice for her son’s moniker. “I didn’t realize the postpartum would hit me that hard. I never called him Wolf, ever…that night, I cried in the shower,” she said in a confessional. “I was like, ‘That’s not his name’  What did I just do? Wolf? Someone just told me this 24 hours ago, to name my son Wolf! It wasn’t even on the list,” she continued.

A month after his 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, in March 2022, Jenner wrote on her Instagram story that her second 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 “isn’t Wolf anymore…we just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.” Ten months later, in January 2023, she announced on Instagram that her son’s new name was Aire, which has its roots in Hebrew and means “Lion of God.” Her petition to change it legally was granted later that year.

Since Aire’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, Jenner has been fairly private about sharing information about him with the world, but she’s occasionally taken to social media to share small moments like a walk in the sun together or his first time eating ice cream during a trip to Disneyland.
