Kim Kardashian shares powerful message of hope for parents of kids with dyslexia

Kim Kardashian is offering words of encouragement to parents who may be struggling with their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s learning differences.

On Friday, September 13, the reality TV star shared a video on her Instagram Stories featuring her friend Lauren Sánchez, who appeared on The View to discuss her new 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space, and her struggles with dyslexia as a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

In the clip, Sánchez, who is engaged to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, spoke about her journey from struggling to write due to her dyslexia to becoming an award-winning journalist thanks to the support of a professor.

Kardashian, who has a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with dyslexia, found solace in Sánchez’s story and wrote, “I’m reposting this not bc she’s my friend and I love her, but because every mom who has struggled with their kids with dyslexia or any learning difference needs to hear that it will be okay.”

Sánchez reshared Kardashian’s post, expressing gratitude with praying-hand emojis.

Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North West, 11, had previously revealed her dyslexia diagnosis during a TikTok livestream in October 2023.

“Guys, I have dyslexia,” North said. “Do you even know what that is?”

Kardashian responded, “Northie, you sure are spilling the tea on here,” and later told her daughter that she was ending the livestream because “you are just saying way too much. I purposely don’t talk about stuff that you are going through.”
