Justin and Hailey Bieber have returned to the states after wedding festivities in Costa Rica, just days after a cryptic post made by the singer reignited interest into his past relationships and current marriage to Hailey Bieber, with some followers wondering if the sentiment was connected to his history with Selena Gomez.
The married couple landed at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 19, after spending time in the Central American country. They visited the country to attend the wedding of friends Joseph Perez and Jessica Lageyre on Sunday, December 15. At the airport, both Justin and Hailey looked comfortable in their attire.
The singer wore a red button down with baggy beige shorts and crocs with socks. A camo New York Yankees hat adorned Justin’s head as he held on to his phone that was in a bunny phone case. The Rhode founder, on the other hand, was in a grey hoodie paired with white lounge pants, flip flops and a black baseball cap on her head. She was also carrying a black bag.
In the Story, Justin was shirtless as he danced with Hailey and the two sang the words to Lojay and Sarz’s song Monalisa. In the video, there’s a glimpse of their outfits at the wedding with Hailey in a burgundy-color dress and Justin in biege pants and a camo New York Yankees cap on top of a what appears to be a black shirt on his head.
In the Instagram carousel, Justin Bieber posted the next day on December 16, their outfits were fully noticeable. Hailey’s strapless burgundy dress had a flower design on the front and Justin had on a cream t-shirt underneath a tan button down.
In the carousel, there featured a photo of the couple cheek to cheek at the camera, Justin kissing her cheek, the view of a sunset, blurred photos at the wedding, Justin playing golf, two solo photos of Hailey and the waves at a tropical beach.
Justin and Hailey have been married since 2018 and started dated in 2016 with an on-again, off-again relationship. But since their marriage, the couple been going strong as they welcomed their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together, Jack Blues Bieber, in August and renewed their vows in May.
Earlier this week, Justin sparked a wave of speculation after using Lizzy McAlpine’s song All My Ghosts on a post with him and Hailey as she kissed the side of his neck. The song choice had fans taking to the comments to theorize what it could mean especially in the aftermath of Selena Gomez’s engagement announcement to Benny Blanco. Justin and Selena had an on-and-off relationship for nearly eight years until they called it quits for good in 2018.
Fans continue to try and decipher what they considered a cryptic message from the 30-year-old, even more so now that the song is no longer attached to the post. While fans also have their own interpretation of what the song means, Lizzy explained what All My Ghost is about in an 2022 interview with Wonderland Magazine.
“We all have that one relationship, usually the first one, that influences how we are in our next relationships. ‘all my ghosts’ is about that, and trying to move past the emotional trauma accumulated from that relationship. It’s about wanting to finally be rid of the things that person left with you and be able to love this new person freely,” she elaborated.
